The Start

It was the early 80’s and the mod revival was in full swing. Then out of the Mod youth of Canvey Island came a mod band called the start.
Joining us at JImmy Macs on Sunday 14th July we have the start performing live.
Influenced by bands such as The Jam and The Who, Northern Soul and ska they formed their own sound. Founder Member Brook Railton and members Sean Kelly ( Touring with secret affair ) on bass , Neil Bruce on guitar , Tony Forino on saxophone and keyboards and the last piece of the jigsaw Steve HENDO Henderson on the drums.
Wooing audiences with there power and musicianship mixing all the finest musical styles from SKA / MOD / Northern Soul / Jazz / Blue Beat & Acid JAZZ
